4) The Book of Jeremiah describes the lukewarm and cold hearts of the people of the Southern Kingdom, Judah, and their eventual fall to Babylon. The final collapse happens in Chapter 52, but in Chapter 29, Jeremiah writes letters to encourage those already exiled. He says, in Jer 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." Judah would be in exile for 70 years. Have you ever felt like you were in A Waiting Period. It may feel like God is silent. But He says "I know the plans I have you--> They are plans for good not disaster, to give you a future and a hope." Thoughts?!?
5) I often hear Jer 29:11, to discuss materialistic blessings, but I believe IT'S SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT AND BETTER. Read Jer 31:31-34. Thoughts?!?
