Vision and Mission

Vision: AGAPE Life is a parachurch ministry that allows people to live in greater Intimacy with God, through a personal relationship with The Triune God. This Love permeates into a lifestyle of walking and sharing AGAPE Love, and they become missionaries in their everyday context!

(Ps 23:5, Matt 22:35-40, Rom 12: 1-8).

We like to say, we are teaching people to become missionaries in their everyday context.

Mission: Our mission can be best explained in our logo. The tree with three branches represents The Triune God in our midst, even in the busyness of our cities, and the busyness of our lives, He Is still there! The roots of the tree, represents the Love that He pours out on us , in the sacrifice of The Lord Jesus Christ. He fills us with AGAPE Love, in the sacrifice of Jesus, and we our overwhelmed with His Love, and as the Psalmist says "our cup runneth over." We are then, compelled to live this love, as a lifestyle! Thus living the Great Commandment!

We help people, prayerfully, realize and grow in this Love, through our Wednesday Night Deep Discipleship Night; these are the roots of the tree (growing in the realization of God's Amazing Love). 

Next, we help people learn to live as "missionaries," in their everyday context, by sharing God's Love, as a lifestyle; this is the trunk of the tree.

Lastly, out of a life, overwhelmed by God's Love (AGAPE Love), there is fruit. Based on your God-given gifts, we provide opportunities to serve - under resourced gospel ministries, around the DMV area, or to encourage others by serving as a prayer Intercessor or travelling and co-teaching with Roger.
